Fortunatus Magambo (52 –Tanzanian)

Board Chairman
He is the Chairman of the Board of Directors since December 2018. In this role, he is focused on setting the strategy and policies of the company, developing leadership, and meeting shareholder commitments. Mr. Magambo currently serves as Director of Planning and Investment of Public Service Social Security Fund and represents the Fund in the Board. He is a Board member in several companies such as Nguru Hills Ranch Ltd, Postal Bank, Ubungo Plaza Ltd. He is familiar with the administrative, leadership, organization, managerial, outsourcing and project management tasks required in a typical mid to large size multinational, multilingual organizations, government institutions and non-government entities. Previously, he served as Treasury Manager of LAPF Pensions Fund. Through his experience, he provides the Board with a solid understanding of financial matters and continuous improvement, extensive business operations, particularly in emerging markets, and a demonstrated capability in strategic planning and organizational development. Mr.Magambo earned his undergraduate degree from Hanze University College – Groningen - The Netherlands, Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance and Accounting, and holds a Dutch Doctoral Programme – Doctorandus (Drs) - Associate Doctorate and MSc (Economics) – Faculty of Economics and Business Administration - Tilburg University - The Netherlands: July 2003.

Mr. Mnyawami (54 years- Tanzanian)

Holds a B.A Statistics (Hons) degree, Makerere University 1993 and M.A. (Economics) from the University of Dar-es-Salaam 2003. He has over 20 years of working experience. From 1994 to 2002, he was employed by the Tanzania Petroleum Development Corporation as a Statistician attached to the Directorate of Marketing and Investments. In October 2002, he joined the Parastatal Pensions Fund as a Programme Coordinator/Research Planning Manager. He rejoined TPDC in 2015. He is also a Member of the Company’s Investment and Risk Management Committee and a registered Member of the Institute of Directors in Tanzania.

Ms Magdalene Nelson Enock Mkocha (67 years- Tanzanian)

Ms. Mkocha holds a BSc. Agriculture from the University of Dar-es-Salaam 1979 and Master of Science (Agriculture) from Sokoine University 1998. She has over 37 years of working experience. From April 1979 to June 2002, she was employed by the National Agricultural and Food Corporation (NAFCO). In July 2002, she joined the Tanzania Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture as Senior Chamber Development Officer and Director for Agriculture Development. She is a member of the TICL Audit Committee. Ms. Mkocha serves as Member in the following Boards/ Committees, Labour Economic and Social Council of the Ministry of Labour, the Tanzania Meat Board, the National Sanitary and Phytosanitary Committee, Chairperson of the VETA Trade Advisory Committee and Alternate Member to the Technical Advisory Committee of the Sugar Board of Tanzania. In addition, she is a registered Member of the Institute of Directors in Tanzania.

Prof. Lucian Ambrose Msambichaka (80 years – Tanzanian)

Prof. Msambichaka holds a B.Sc. in Agriculture from the University of Dar-s- Salaam. In addition, he holds an M.Sc. and PhD. from Leipzig University in Germany. He is a Member of the following professional bodies: Agricultural Economics Society of Tanzania, Economics Society of Tanzania, and the African Association of Public Administration and Management. He is also the Chairman of the Board’s Investment Committee. In addition, Prof. Msambichaka has served as Board Chairman of several companies and organizations including the Morogoro Leather Goods Board of Directors, Financial Services and Enterprises Development Association, National Health Insurance Fund Board, Moshi University College of Cooperative and Business Studies, Business Registration and Licensing Agency [BRELA], Rufiji Basin Development Authority (RUBADA), Institute of Social Work Board of Governors and the Tanzania Investment Centre.

Mr. Joseph Matanga Kahungwa (58 years -Tanzanian)

Mr. Kahungwa holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting -Hons.) degree from the University of Dar-es-Salaam, 1987 and Master of Business Administration (Hons) from the University of Dar-es-Salaam, 2003. He is also the President (Agriculture) of the Tanzania Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture (May 2013 to date), shareholder and board member of the Board of Directors of TCCIA Investment PLC and also Chairman of its Audit Committee. Mr. Kahungwa also saved as the TCCIA Mwanza Region Chairman (March 2008 to March 2013), TCCIA Mwanza Regional Vice-Chairman (2001 to March 2008), Board member CRDB Bank PLC from 2001 to 2006, member of the finance committee of the Africa Inland Church Tanzania (AICT) 1977 to 2014. Previously, he held several positions including Logistics and Government Relations Manager of Pangea Minerals Ltd from July 1999 to 2001, Senior Accountant - Pangea Minerals Ltd, Senior Accountant and Credit Controller – Board of External Trade from 1992 to 1994. Accountant, Board of External Trade from 1991 to 1992. Mr Kahungwa also serves as Chairman of Economic, Planning and Development of African Inland Church Tanzania from 2014 to date. He is a registered member of the Institute of Directors in Tanzania.

Mr. Paul Faraj Koyi (60 years -Tanzanian)

Mr. Koyi holds a Bachelor of Science in Electronics from the University of Dar-es-Salaam. He is currently the President of the Tanzania Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture and Executive Chairman of BN`N Group of Companies. He also served as the Committee Member of the Business Council of Tanzania, Dar es Salaam Region, Independent SME Consultant, trainer and Mentor for the Youth. Mr Koyi is a Member of the Tanzania Engineers Registration Board (ERB) as a professional engineer and also registered by EEU as ICT consultant for Southern AFRICA Projects.

Ernest R. Khisombi (55 years -Tanzanian)

Mr. Khisombi holds an ADMA from IDM Mzumbe,1999, Diploma in Divinity from SDA- Morogoro Bible Collage 1983 and Master of Business Administration from Mzumbe University, 2008. Mr. Khisombi currently serves as Director of Procurement and Supplies of Public Service Social Security Fund and represents the Fund in the Board. Mr Khisombi also serves a Reverend at Tanzania Mennonite Church at Mkuhungu Healing Center-Central Dodoma Diocese.Previously, he held several positions with NSSF as Principal Procurement Officer from 2018 to 2019, Senior Procurement Officer with Musoma MC, Bunda Dc from 2017 to 2018. Head of Procurement Management Unit with Morogoro DC and Kongwa Dc from 2007 to 2017, Assistant lecture at SAUT- Mtwara Campus 2013. He is a member of the TICL Audit and Risk Committee.

Mr Peter W. Kifunguomali (41)

Mr Kifunguomali holds a Master’s Degree in International Business from Jamia Millia Islamia, New Delhi, 2014, and a Bachelor of Science in Economics degree in Project Planning and Management from Mzumbe University, 2007. He started his career with the Ministry of Natural Resources and Tourism before joining NBC Bank and LAPF Pensions Fund. Prior to his current role, he was Head of the Planning Section with the Public Service Social Security Pensions Fund (PSSSF) since September 2018. He also sat on the Company Board from July 2017 to June 2019. Mr. Kifunguomali combines his extensive education and multifaceted experience to steer the company towards continued success, making him an invaluable member of TICL’s  leadership team.
